The Wayne County CEO program is thrilled to announce their upcoming event, the “Fall Fiesta,” scheduled for November 19, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. Focused on supporting the entrepreneurial ventures of the Wayne County CEO students, this event is set to be a highlight of the year.
According to waynecountyceo.com, the Wayne County CEO program aims to equip individuals, “particularly the youth, to be responsible, enterprising individuals who become entrepreneurs or entrepreneurial thinkers and contribute to economic development and sustainable communities.” As part of this program, students have had the privilege of visiting various businesses, where they gain valuable insights into entrepreneurship, learn tips and tricks on running a business, and acquire a comprehensive understanding of the many aspects of the business world. These business visits play a key role in shaping the students’ own entrepreneurial endeavors.
Earlier plans for a haunted trail were unfortunately canceled due to inclement weather, prompting the quick thinking of the CEO students. The “Fall Fiesta” promises attendees a delightful experience filled with food catered by La Fuente, captivating live music, a silent auction, raffle baskets brimming with exciting prizes, and much more.
Rheagan Wells, elected president of the CEO class, expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “The fall fiesta will allow people to gather together and eat delicious food, listen to wonderful live music, and win some amazing prizes! It is a great way to unite our community and introduce Wayne County to the wonderful program that is CEO.”
With the goal of attracting approximately 200 visitors, the students have distributed flyers and created a Facebook event, eagerly seeking community engagement. Make sure to mark your calendars and join the students of Wayne County CEO for this unforgettable “Fall Fiesta!”
