The WCHS Marching Indians Ready for Bean Days!
September 15, 2017
Wayne City’s infamous Bean Days is almost here! That means that Bean Days parade is almost here as well! Just as in every other year, Wayne City’s High School Band will be marching along and bringing some great sound with them.
When asked whether she thought they were ready for this, their sponsor, Mrs. Fagan, said, “They have been doing really well and will be ready for this year’s parade!”
They will be ready, but first there are some things needed done to fully prepare for the parade. The WCHS Marching Indians will be having drum major auditions soon. Flag twirler auditions will be held soon as well.
Band this year has 14 members and Mrs. Fagan spoke well about all of them! She said they were very eager to learn, good listeners and very hard workers!
The band practices 4th hour most of the time and also marches two times a week. That is until the week of Bean Days, during that week the band will practice every day.
Our WCHS Marching Indians works very hard, and great things are expected of them. So show support for your band at Bean Days and cheer them on as they go!
