At Wayne City High School 80 students were surveyed on their favorite social media. Sixty students said their favorite social media to use was Snapchat. Nine students said Instagram and eight said Twitter. Only three students said Facebook.

When asked why Snapchat was her favorite, a senior, Shayla Miller said, “It’s an easy way of communication and if you’re talking to a cute guy, you can see his face all the time.” When asked why Twitter was her favorite Aubrey Noe said, “I prefer Twitter over other social media sites because I’m able to connect with more people.” Bradley Braddock said Facebook was his favorite because it’s the only social media he has. When asked why Instagram is his favorite Dane Horton said, “I enjoy taking pictures and looking at them.”

In conclusion, Snapchat was the most popular. A lot of students use Snapchat to talk to their friends, watch stories, and keep streaks. It seems for high school students, Facebook is a thing of the past.
