Teachers Who Sexually Abuse Children Still Work In Classrooms

Students all over the country are complaining of teachers sexually harrassing them. In Orangefield County a high school football coach had complaints against him and he police did not notify the Texas education officials who could have revoked his teaching license. The only punishment the coach had was he had to go and teach at a different school.

All over the county, students are still being raped and abused because schools are failing to report teachers. State education agencies across the country have ignored a federal ban on signing secrecy deals with teachers suspected of abusing minors.

Schools are failing to do thorough background checks. A teacher in Louisiana was hired who was a registered sex offender in Texas. School administrators are rarely punished for not notify officials, even though 41 states have required officials to report teachers who have been caught abusing a student in any way.

Administrators are allowing teachers to leave with a “graceful exit.” Which allows the teacher to avoid notifying the officials and to continue teaching as long as it at another school.
