Hair, makeup, nails, dress. A lot goes into a pageant that many may not realize. Everyone wants to win, right? The competition is fierce, and every girl in that pageant wants to win something. When in the pageant, there are different things you have to keep in mind. Contestants have to remember to smile and realize it’s all just for fun. They have to remember to support the other girls. There are different steps in the process.

  Some pageants may contain different outfit changes and some require just a beautiful dress. The judges interview each contestant. Each contestant will be asked a series of questions on their personal life. It’s important to just stay honest and be oneself. Different judges look for different things.

 Many things contribute to being able to win the crown. Many judges want the girl to have good social skills, kind heart, good manners, and want to hear that the girl wants what is best for the community. They want someone who they know will make a difference and positively represent the crown.
