Stitches to Riches

Megan Noll is an inspiring 29-year-old woman. She is married, has two kids named Carson and Collins, and owns a clothing company.

When Megan grew up, she wanted to be a cashier at Sharps, the local grocery store. “ I had big dreams,” she said while laughing. As a kid, she didn’t know anything about sewing. She hadn’t even touched a sewing machine until November 2015 when she brought one home and asked her mom to show her how to thread it. Megan’s grandmother offered to teach her how to sew, but at that time, she had absolutely no interest in it.

Everything changed when she had her first kid, Carson. She didn’t want to buy clothes at Old Navy and Target and dress her child like everyone else. Megan wanted to dress her boy in a certain and more unique way. From that moment, she taught herself to sew so she could make exactly what she wanted for her son. She started making more and more clothes and, four years ago, she finally opened her own clothing company named “The Stitched Co.”

Nowadays, Megan Noll makes around 5,000 pairs of pants a year and does around $150,000 a year in sales! She sold some clothes to the kids of Philip Lawrence, who used to write, produce, and perform with Bruno Mars and even has a couple of NFL players’ wives as customers.

By just starting to make clothes for her child, Megan has come a really long way!
