With an exciting end to an eventful season, Super Bowl LVII gave everyone a good show. In recent years, most of the Super Bowls have had disappointing outcomes with mostly blowouts. This game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles was very close until the end. The game was tied at the end of the first quarter after a rushing touchdown by Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts and a receiving touchdown by Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Also in this quarter, Kansas City’s kicker missed a field goal that would have led the Chiefs to the lead. The second quarter built up the momentum for this game as well as many big time touchdowns. The first of this quarter coming from Eagles receiver A.J. Brown who got a 45 yard touchdown. The next drive after for the Eagles led to a fumble recovered by Nick Bolton of the Chiefs leading to a touchdown. With another rushing touchdown from Jalen Hurts and a field goal by the Eagles, they now led 24-14 at halftime.

After half, the third quarter was one of the least eventful parts of the game with only 10 points total scored. One touchdown was scored during this quarter for the Chiefs with Isiah Pacheco rushing the ball in and the other 3 points coming from an Eagles field goal. Starting the fourth quarter, the Chiefs come out hot with back to back touchdowns resulting in them having an 8 point lead over the Eagles, 35-27. Just like he had been doing all game, Jalen Hurts once again scores a rushing touchdown and a two point conversion tying the game up 35-35. On the Chiefs final drive they bring the ball all the way to the ten-yard line where Chiefs get a field goal to lead and eventually win the game 38-35.

In this Super Bowl, fans saw the best two teams battle it out and bring it to each other all night. With young star Jalen Hurts showing up in the big moment and Patrick Mahomes being one of the all-time greats that he is, it led to one of the best Super Bowls in recent history. Many experts think the league is in good shape with many talented players shown and many who showed up for the big moment.
