Coaches Jackson and Hannah Pierce have been very influential to the team as they emphasize the importance of supporting other teammates both on and off the track. Senior Liam Smith said, “The opportunity to co-op with Webber is extremely interesting as the people are very unique.”
As the track and field season kicks off, the Webber-Wayne team is ready to showcase their skills and determination at upcoming meets and competitions. With a strong roster of athletes in various events, including sprints, distance running, jumps, and throws, the co-op team is assured of success. Fans and supporters from both communities are eagerly anticipating the exciting performances this collaboration will bring. Junior Kaylin Loker said, “Being able to co-op has been really good for our school. Without our Webber teammates, we would have such a small track team and would not go very far. It’s been really nice meeting new people and being able to compete against other schools with them.”
