Unsung Hero: Twilla King-A Nurse of Wayne City High School

Twilla King is a nurse at Wayne City High School. She started work as a nurse in 1996 in Fairfield. She was there for two years, and after she went to Wayne City High School where now she works. Twilla chose this job because she likes helping people do a lot of things. She had to get a degree in two years to take nursing license.

 

Nurse Twilla’s dream job would be to work in St. Jude’s to research children’s health. When asked what is the most difficult part of being a nurse, she answered that the most intricate part of being a nurse is having a patience because especially with the kids you have to satisfy every request. In fact nursing is not a job for everyone.

 

Many people have a different ways of see a nurse. Some people say that the nurses are viewed as compassionate and caring individuals who save lives, but other people think that they do not satisfy patient’s requests and do not give to them the right medicine and advice. But Nurse Twilla said that thinking in this way is wrong, because the nurses have a big heart and they love their job to help others.
