Being Clubbed to Death

History club, Beta club, Art club, and Drama are all just a few of the many clubs provided here at WCHS. Many of the students are in or associated with these clubs, but is it too much? Students strive to be in as many clubs as possible, but without realizing how much time and effort gets put into all of these different clubs. There are so many events and activities that students have to participate in to actually qualify to be in that club.

So, when asked if being in so many different clubs was stressful and too much, freshman, Isaiah Miller replied saying, “I don’t think it’s too much being in all the clubs I’m in, but sometimes I get a little stressed out and confused about how to get points for different clubs and where to go for meetings.” Another student, Kendy Anderson says “No, it’s not stressful for me, I enjoy the clubs I’m in. It gives me a little break from all the school work.”

Students at WCHS seem to enjoy the many different clubs that the school offers, even though it can be stressful at times. From knowing where to go for different activities and meetings to trying to sell items or get a certain amount of points. It can be a lot or work. Without the students, the clubs would not exist, so making the clubs fun and exciting to be in is a main priority here at WC.
