Fan-Boy King

Out of 40 randomly chosen votes on who the most impassioned super-fan in Wayne City High School is, Jaxon King came out on top!  Almost everyone who voted including those who did not vote for Jaxon said that Jaxon was one of the first people who came to mind.  Jaxon was chosen because he attempts to be at every game he can for all sports and is always showing school spirit at school events and dressing up days.

Jaxon is very much known for the costumes he comes to school in during spirit week and during Red Ribbon Week.  When asked what his favorite thing to wear this year has been, he simply replied, “High heels.”

Not only does Mr. King dress up hilariously for school spirit days, he also goes very hard when cheering on his school teams at sporting events, most recently volleyball.  Jaxon was asked why he enjoyed and found it necessary to go so hard at cheering on his school and he said, “Landon and Chad are a couple of my best friends, and they always went hard so I felt like I needed to go hard for them since they are not in high school anymore.”  He was also asked about his opinion of people who don’t participate and he left me with no recordable comment on the matter.

Jaxons favorite pep club themes of all time were in his junior and sophomore years.  In his sophomore year, he said his favorite was wrestling night, “We brought out the high jump mats and had an actual wrestling ring!” His favorite junior year was on senior night.

Jaxon commented that he was very disappointed this year in the lack of participation.  He said that he was very scared for the years to come in our pep club.  He feels that there would be many more wins if more people participated.  So the question from the Fan-Boy King is, who is the heir to his throne?
