Ms. Hannah Rodgers has brought new activities and materials at Wayne City High School, improving the art class and program. Also she started off the Art Club where a lot of students come over.

The Art Class is attended by students who like to draw and to express their creativity, as Mr. Rodgers said, “We have to strived to work with the community to bring more creativity to our small town.” Also she said, “ We have painted full murals and a participated at the Fall Fest with a face painting booth.” She is trying to create an outlet for students to have free expression and a place to be creative with one another. Through the Art Club was introduced to students last year she feels like it has really taken off. She had 35 students show up at the first meeting. “My students seems interested on what we do in class, and I have a handful of dedicated students who I love working with”, she says.
