What Would Be the First Thing a Student Would Do If They Were the Principal?

Being the principal of the school is a hard job and though they come up with different rules and policies for the school, the students do not always like or agree with them. Who knows what the students would do differently if they were able to be the principal of the school. Ten WCHS students were asked what they would do first if they were the principal of the school and gave a variety of responses.

Senior, Shayla Miller said she would let everyone take a day off school, senior Morgan Schumm said she would let everyone get out at noon everyday, senior Gracie McCormick said she would let everyone drive during lunch, and senior Jaxon King would bring back study hall. Three different people including seniors Aubrey Noe, Remington Henson, and Maddie Clark would all make the school days longer in order to have no school on Fridays.

There were also other responses like sophomore Avery Seidel who said she would tell the whole school to go home and go to bed. Senior Mariska Borton would get rid of the no cell phone policy. Senior Lucy Smith would rather go back and never get a new school. Junior Dane Horton would sit in on every teacher and bust them for every small thing they do wrong.

Though the students do not get to make the rules the suggestions for the students could make the school a more bearable place for the students to be. These are just some of the things that would be changed by the students if they had a chance to make the rules for a change.
