The weekend is something everyone looks forward to. It’s gives people a break from their school work, their jobs, and most importantly, their stress. Weekends give people time to have fun with friends. While weekends are fun, sometimes there can be a struggle with trying to figure out what to do, especially if someone lives in a small town like Wayne City.

What is there to do on Friday and Saturday nights in this small town? Rylee Greenwalt says she drives around with people and listens to music. This is something many teenagers do on weekends. After doing that for a few hours, however, in small towns, there are usually a few spots where teens will meet and hangout with friends. This usually creates a great time.

In many small towns there may not be an abundance of attractions around, but luckily, often, there are usually some in close proximity. In Wayne City, if teens wanted to travel the slight distance of about 20 miles, they could spend their day eating lunch then bowling, watching a movie, or even going to the mall.

After an enjoyable weekend with friends, Sundays are usually reserved for God and family. Many students will go to church on Sunday morning and/or night, and spend the rest of the day with family.

There may not be too much to do in small towns on the weekends, but friends and some creativity can lead to the best weekend yet!
