How To Obtain A Boyfriend

Hanah Cooper

Baby. Boo. Bae. Boyfriend. Plenty of girls in the school, and even some guys, have wandered out into the world and picked up a worthy boy of their own. However, a boyfriend isn’t always easy to come by. But no worries, here are a few simple steps that will make the man hunt a little easier:

Deciding when it’s time:

Trying to find a boyfriend at a younger age is often difficult, not worth a young person’s time, and could possibly be embarrassing in the future. It’s better for someone to wait until their preteen/teen years before they start looking for a significant other. It may be hard to hold off, but, in the long run, people are generally happier with themselves that they were at an age to make a good decision.

Flirting:

Once someone is stable enough to make a decision about dating and has decided that they’ve found a boy they are interested in, flirting usually commences. Every guy is different, so the first thing one must do is figure out what appeals most to a specific boy. For example, if they are interested in basketball, someone could ask if they caught the latest Warriors game. Spark up his interest with a little casual conversation, some hair flips, and major batting of the eyelashes.

Dating:

This is one of the most crucial steps to obtaining a boyfriend: dating. Dating is a loose relationship where two people are trying to know and understand each other better. This is, essentially, a way to test a partners suitability for a real relationship or possibly even marriage. The tricky part is getting a boy to ask someone to go on a date. Kicking the flirting game up to maximum level is always the best bet. Wherever the boy decides to take this person, they must always remember to try to make the best of the location and act impressed. Conversations start to become a little more real and personal when dating begins. The act of dating lasts for an unpredictable amount of time but one should still try to make the most out of every single date! This is all about a validation of feelings and it shouldn’t be taken lightly.

Happily Ever After:

In general, after dating around for a few weeks, the time has come! This boy will finally ask one for their hand. This may not be in marriage, but rather in a stable relationship. This is the end goal people are after! One should pat themselves on the back, for they have accomplished their dream.
