How To Write A Book

A Step-by-Step Guide

Writing is not for everyone, even reading isn’t for everyone. To the select few who do like to read and write, continue on into this article. This advice may be different for everyone, any advice is subjective.

It starts with the idea, probably the most important part of starting any book. It is the soul of the book. When an idea hits, it may be small like a fly, or it may feel like a train.

The characters and the plot come next. Names, backstories, zodiac signs perhaps? To have a good book, well developed characters and plot are a must. Writing may come next, if procrastination doesn’t halt things. Grammar and spelling are also imperative for a good book. It may be necessary to have two or more people read over and edit the writing.

Everything else is a matter of opinion. There may be different cities, worlds, or universes to build on top of all of this. It’s a lot of work, but if it gets done, any book can be a bestseller.
