A New Face at WCHS

As students pass by the school office, they’ll notice a new face.  Kathy Braddock has been hired as the Wayne City Unit #100 High School secretary.  Mrs. Braddock has lived many places, but now resides in Wayne City with her husband, Donnie, of 23 years.  They have two sons, Will, 11 and Sam, 9, who both attend Wayne City Elementary School. In her spare time, Mrs. Braddock enjoys reading, knitting, and photography.

Mrs. Braddock is a recent college graduate.  After earning her Associates Degree from Frontier Community College in 2015, she then completed her BS in Business Administration from Columbia College in December of 2017.

When asked, Mrs. Braddock said that learning new things and meeting new people has been the most exciting part of her new job.  Although getting into a new routine after being a stay-at-home mom for 11 years has been challenging, she says that she loves her new job because there is never a dull moment.

If students happen to be in the office, they should make sure to introduce yourself and give Mrs. Braddock a nice, warm welcome.  Welcome aboard Mrs. Braddock!
