It’s already September. That means Bean Days is right around the corner. Bean Days is the only festival hosted by Wayne City, and over the years they have added so many new things to this growing festival. The weekend inlcudes: Fireworks on Friday night, Free Laser Tag, FFA Farmyard Follies, Carnival rides, and a Cornhole tournament. Here is this year’s lineup for Bean Days:

Friday September 21

5:30 pm Pinochle

6:00 pm 5k (location by old Ag Building)

7:00 pm Wrestling by IWA Productions (road by Boyd Furniture)

7:00 pm Music by Wildfire (stage on Kincaids’ parking lot)

9:00 pm Fireworks (at ball diamonds)

Saturday September 22

7-9 am Tractor Show (school parking lot)

8-9 am Lineup for Parade

8-4 pm Flea market (mill street)

9-3 pm Quilt Show (Baptist Church Fellowship Hall)

9:30-12 pm Car Show

10 am Parade, Grand Marshall Janette Cullions

10-3 pm Free Laser Tag (in front of the School)

11-4 pm Carnival and Food Vendors open

11 am Free Ham and Beans (by Community Building)

11 am Lions Club Train (by  the Baptist Church)

11 am Music by Don’t Mind us

1 pm FFA Farmyard Follies (grass by Baptist Church)

1 pm Music by Revelation

1 pm Corn Hole Tourney (at the park)

2 pm Ruritan Raffle drawing (by Ruritan tent)

2 pm All Class Reunion (Community Building)

4 pm Bingo (Community Building)

7 pm Rodeo (Wayne City Saddle Club)
