Ebola is Breaking Out

Ebola has broken out again in Congo, since August 1 there has been 385 cases and 213 deaths. Ebola first appeared in 1976 in Sudan and Congo. Ebola broke out again in West Africa in 2014. It started back up in North Kivu to Ituri, and it was spread to the east of the country.  This was the tenth time Ebola has broken out in Congo since 1976. Out of all the cases reported, 311 have so far been confirmed to be Ebola and 47 have been probable. Among the deaths 166 were confirmed to be Ebola and 47 to be probable according to CNN. Pregnant women are included among the dead. Ebola causes fevers, severe headaches, and in some cases hemorrhaging. It spreads through direct contact with bodily fluids or an object contaminated  by a person with the disease. The virus enters through broken skin or through your nose, mouth, or eyes.
