President Trump on Thursday doubled the threat to force partial government shutdown if Congress doesn’t approve the funding for border security. “We’re in negotiation. If we don’t get border security, possible shutdown,’’ Trump told a reporter in the White House. Trump is demanding $5 billion for increasing security along the U.S. – Mexico border. Congress must pass the funding by Dec. 7 to avoid the shutting of part of the government. Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer said this week that democrats don’t want to offer more than $1.6 billion on border security. In a interview with Politico on Wednesday, Trump said he is more then willing to shutdown the over government over funding for border security, calling it a “totally winner.” He suggested that the U.S. troops should be stationed near the U.S.- Mexican Border to lay razor wire and additional funding if the Congress does not provided his desired amount. Trump told The Washington Post  that we need the democrats to vote have a wall. “Now, if don’t get it, will I get it done another way? I might get it done another way. There are other potential ways that I can do it. You saw what we did with military, with barbed wire and fencing, and various other things,” Trump stated.
