Wade Smith, a 41-year-old man from Zephyrhills, Florida, was arrested for allegedly throwing a “hard piece” of a cookie at his girlfriend. This “intimate relationship,” as claimed by the Miami Herald, got a whole lot sweeter that Sunday night. It has been reported that Smith confessed to throwing the cookie at his girlfriend without her consent. When they police arrived at the scene, they confirmed that there was a small red mark on the woman’s forehead near her hairline. As of last Monday, the 41-year-old is still being held at Pasco County Sheriff’s Department on charges of domestic battery. The flying cookie weapon has been labeled as “Other – Dangerous” in the official police report. ABC’s First Coast also reported that, “According to the Pasco Sheriff’s Office booking page, Smith has been previously arrested for related charges including aggravated battery on a pregnant person, domestic battery by strangulation, and violation of domestic violence injunctions.” “Tattoo Wade,” a fitting name for the alleged dessert discus thrower, obviously has had a past and he very well may strike again. Who knows whether or not he will stay convicted for his crimes, but either way, it’s just the way the cookie crumbles…
