Petter Together

A person’s pet can be their best friend. Dogs have everything someone would want in a friend, they’re loyal, kind, and will stick with them through everything no matter the outcome. Seventy two percent of dog owners say their pets understand them like no person could. Cats have personal connections with their owners too, it’s not as talked about, however.

Nearly every person at Wayne City High School and Grade School have wished to have a pet instead of a sibling. Most people would say their pet is their best friend. Three students were asked what their pet means to them, and here’s what they had to say. Junior Greta Ihmels says, “My dog LOL is super super cute and I love him so very much.” Ninety seven percent of dog owners say their pets are the cutest.

Junior Kylee Gregory said, “My dog, Remi, means everything to me. She’s a year and a half old and I’ve had her since she was 8 weeks old. She’s gone everywhere with me since besides work and school, of course. She comes in my house with me every time I come home. She’s hard to hide from my mom because she’s a German Shepard and black lab mix. She always seems to know how I’m feeling. She’s my best friend and I don’t know what I would do without her. I can’t explain the kind of bond we have. Best dog I’ve ever had, especially for $20.”
