Too Rough or Good Life Lessons

With this school year being busy, many of the kids have been very stressed out with their schedules, but it has also taught many kids about time management.  With basketball season getting ready to go full blown, open gyms have been going on every night leaving the kids mentally and physically drained. Noah, a junior at Wayne City High School, has said, “These practices have been very challenging. Our coach runs us for an hour and a half straight with very little breaks. So when I go home, I don’t feel like doing much, but it has taught me how to manage my time.” On the other hand, many students disagree.  Avery, a senior at WCHS, said, “I am so stressed that I don’t even know how to put my feelings into words.” Many students here feel that they are overwhelmed with all the Rhet and Comp papers they have to write and battling the deadlines. Journalism kids have also felt like they have been in the same boat with all the ads and articles they have had complete. On top of all of that, the majority of students here have a job they also have to keep up with while juggling all of these responsibilities.
