Concert Ready

On Wednesday night, while several of the FFA members attended FFA National Convention, they attended a concert put on by the band Old Dominion. The students made it to Indianapolis at around three o’clock p.m., checked into the hotel, got ready, and headed to eat. They ate at an Italian restaurant called Buca di Beppos, where they serve so much food that a small meal can serve up to 3 people. After eating, they traveled to Bankers Life Fieldhouse, home of the NBA Team Indiana Pacers, where the concert was held. Before the concert started, the girls who attended, Ellie Dickey, Jakara Greenwalt, and Avery Seidel posed for a picture and captioned it “Concert Ready” on social media. This was Sophomore, Ellie Dickey’s, first ever concert, and she was pretty excited to say the least. Dickey exclaimed, “I am so glad I got to experience my first concert at National FFA Convention! Old Dominion put on such a good show I do not know how anyone is going to top it. The concert was so good I almost cried when they played my favorite song.” During intermission, two members, Avery Seidel and Clay Reed, had the opportunity to catch up with some old friends they had not seen in a while. Reed stated, “It was really neat getting to see them and catch up.” At the end of the concert, Old Dominion threw their guitar picks out, Junior Jarrett Lewis was lucky enough to catch one of them. “It was the greatest moment of my life,” stated Lewis.
