Perfecting a Look

Planning an Outfit

When planning an outfit for oneself, keep in mind the occasion the outfit will be worn. Once the outfit is planned for the occasion, one needs to make sure everything in the outfit flows together properly. Make sure everything matches with accessories if an individual plans on wearing them. He or she needs to know what shoes go with what. For an example, one can’t have boots with sweatpants. Make sure he or she has a nice pair of sneakers or boots. These are necessities for having a more casual but sharp look throughout the day.

Dressing for a Job

When trying to figure out a outfit to wear to a job interview, one must understand that there is a line between dressed up and overdressed. This will vary on the job. For the male look, he needs to own a nice pair of black slacks and a neutral color button-up. The neutral colors gives off the expression of responsibility. Make sure one has a watch on before entering into the interview; accessories are very important when pulling off a specific look. For women, make sure one also has a nice pair of black slacks, a business casual shirt or respectable blouse, and again, accessories are a necessity.

Cute, Lazy Look

When trying to pull off the cute and lazy look there are a few things that really make the outfit stand out. Over-sized sweatshirts and tees give the comfy but also cute look. Sweatpants or leggings will help flow the over-sized tee or sweatshirt together. There is one more very important key factor in pulling this look off and this is how you do your hair. Tying the hair in the back isn’t pulling it off anymore, cute buns and curly ponies have taken over this look adding the sense of pretty, cute, and lazy.
