Wednesdays Back at School

Online learning has been a real struggle this year. Not only for teachers, but for students also. Due to COVID-19, Wayne City highschool has been taking Wednesdays off for online learning. It was used as a cleaning day, so they could eliminate as many chances at getting COVID as possible. Due to the sudden change in COVID policies, the school has decided to return on Wednesdays. Some teachers are very excited about the students coming back to school on Wednesdays, and they are very excited to start seeing some students who have not been attending school because of COVID. “I think returning on Wednesdays is going to be good for our school, and students. I think we are going to see a lot of changes in grades, and I am very excited to start seeing all the beautiful faces back in the hallways,” states Paula Beehn.  Some students however, can continue to stay home with a doctors note, stating that they are at high-risk, or they have to prove that they live with somebody who is at high risk of getting COVID-19.
