As prom gets close, some people are still confused on what time everything starts. Wayne City High School’s Prom is Saturday, March 26. The doors open for all students at 5 o’clock that evening for pictures. The doors open at 5:30  for the public, and that is when all the students that is doing the walk through will start lining up. The walk through begins at 6 o’clock. At 6:30 the coronation will start, this is when the prom king and queen will be crowned. After the coronation, the dinner will start at 7:15 and the dance shortly after. The dance ends at midnight, and everyone will change and get ready to leave to go to after prom. This year, after prom will be held at UrbanAir in Fairview Heights, IL. We will leave the school at midnight  and arrive at UrbanAir at 1:30 a.m. Students will be at UrbanAir for 3 hours and then at 4:30 a.m. and then the group will leave to head back to Wayne City. One thing to note, is that students have to have the waiver signed before they get to post prom. Attendees will have to go to the UrbanAir online website to sign the waiver. Once leaving UrbanAir, the group will arrive back in Wayne City at 6 a.m. Prom can be such a stressful time but knowing the times and details can remove some of the stress and allow students to focus on the fun.
