See You at the Pole is a nationwide event where individuals gather around a flag pole and pray. The first see you at the pole started in 1990 as a grassroots movement with ten students praying at school. Twenty years later millions pray on campuses on the fourth Wednesday every September. Wayne City High school will be having See You at the Pole Wednesday, September 28 at 7 am . The club Apologetix puts on this event for their school. It will be held in the Wayne City High school performance gym. The public is welcome to attend, and donuts will be provided. Senior Jovi Horton states, “I love the fact that we get the opportunity to have prayer and Jesus as a part of our school day.”

Students of Wayne City High school will be leading worship music that day. Each student felt led to sing or play an instrument for this event. The individuals leading music are, seniors Kelby Wood, Jovi Horton, and Paige Greenwalt. One junior is leading, Graceland Loker, and her brother, Freshman, Javen Loker will play guitar.
