Ashton Bullard is the Class of 2024’s Feburary Senior of the Month. Voted on for particapation in and out of class and community service acts, Bullard was picked by the high school faculty.

Bullard participates in multiple clubs and holds officer positions in several of them. She is the Band Librarian, FCCLA Section Foundation Officer and Chapter Vice President, Art Club Vice President, Journalism Ad Designer, History Club member, and Beta Club Historian. With dreams of becoming a teacher, she does afterschool babysitting as well.

Band Teacher Jessica Fagan states, “I’m proud of her for receiving the award, and I know she will do great things.”

Bullard is also very active in the community with around 50 service hours during her time in high school. Helping out with food drives, Christmas for Kids, the Bean Days Quilt Show, and the Community Haunted House Tours, she also volunteers often with the Wayne County Fire Department by cleaning trucks or serving  as a firefighter training actor. Bullard stated, “I’m glad that I get the opportunity to help out with the Fire Department and all the life experience I’m gaining.”
