The Lady Indians volleyball team has kicked off the season with a 10-5 record so far. Up to this point, the Lady Indians are undefeated in the conference after playing 4 conference matches. The Lady Indians have defeated the Cisne Lions, the Patoka Warriors, the Webber Trojans, and the Sandoval Blackhawks. The Lady Indians volleyball team has started out the season very strong and they intend to keep this streak going.
“So far, it has been a great season, but we have plenty of season left. There is more that we can do with our game. The thing I think that is fun about this team and season is that we are just now beginning to see what we are capable of. We can still expand our offense, and tighten up our defense even more. As good as we have been, we can still improve. We can compete for the conference season championship and the conference tournament championship and hopefully position ourselves well as we go into regionals. We are playing as a team right now and that is what will allow us to do all these things that we want to do. So far, so good.” says Coach LaMar Choate.
The volleyball team this year has very high hopes for this season. “I think we as a team have started out pretty strong. And as the season goes on we will get even stronger. The goals are set high!” states senior, Kyia Cone.
The Lady Indians have fought hard this season so far and they do not seem to be letting up anytime soon.
