Every Friday, Wayne City High School hosts a 30 minute devotion called Apologetix. Different people provide snacks and drinks. Everything from donuts to Pop Tarts have been served. Kenzie Seidel said, “I am thankful that we have a spot to gather and have devotion, that our sponsors give us the opportunity and for the speakers.” The students took turns speaking or giving a devotion every week. Apologetix helped quite a bit of students out of their comfort zone. Students found courage to get up and speak. Fourteen to twenty students attend Apologetix every week. Anistyn White said, “Apologetix has been a good way for our students to talk about the Lord and being a first year member I have already learned so much from it.” The members had a game night that all high school students were invited to join. The kids were served food and got to play different games afterwards. They are not meeting this Friday due to prom being Saturday. Apologetix held “See You at the Pole,” where members, families, students and teachers all gathered together to have fellowship. The community came together that morning to worship and pray.
