Erik Hicks was born June 13, 2001, and is a senior in high school. He said the religion he very loosely follows is Wicca. He got into it when he was around 15 years old and got his first deck of Tarot cards from his grandma. His grandma was a witch in the 80’s, but let go of it around the 2000’s.

Most misconceptions about the Wiccan religion can be boiled down to thinking it’s devil worship. Simply put, Erik says, “I’m not a devil worshiper.” Wicca actually forbids dark magic because any spell or enchantment you cast comes back to you in some way. Erik says he learned Wiccan spells and energies from his best friend, Trinity Krueger. He isn’t that far into learning yet, but he says he’s working hard still.
