Baking a cake can be a bit of a challenge, but if you follow these directions you should be able to bake a cake with no problem. Buying a cake from the bakery can be expensive. So, if you are looking for a cheaper option, this article is for you. All you need are the ingredients listed below:

  1. Betty Crocker Devil’s Food cake mix
  2. 1 ¼ cups of water
  3. ½ vegetable oil
  4. 3 eggs

All you have to do is follow these four easy steps:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit and grease the bottom of the pan with butter or a non-stick spray.
  2. Mix cake mix, water, oil, and eggs in a large bowl. Mix with a mixer on medium speed for two minutes. Then pour batter into the pan.
  3. If you are using a 13×9 pan, bake for 30-35 minutes. If you are using two 8” round pans, bake for 30-35 minutes. If you are using two 9” round pans, bake for 25-30 minutes. If you are using a bundt cake pan, bake for 40-45 minutes. If you are making 24 cupcakes, bake for 14-19 minutes.
  4. Once you take your cake out of the oven, turn the oven off and let the cake sit for 10 minutes.

If you prefer an iced cake, you can buy any Betty Crocker frosting to go with your cake.
