The 2023 Battle of the Classes Event is approaching quickly at Wayne City High School. This year, the planners of the event have decided to add an extra activity to the event, a talent show. Wayne City has many talented students, and the school has thought a fun talent show would help students show off their skills. Most students view the talent shows as exciting, and anyone can be a part of a talent show, no matter how little or big their talent. Talent shows can be very nerve racking for some people. The fear of standing in front of a large crowd or even showing off their skills can be very hard to get past, but for some people it is a very exciting and adrenaline-fueling experience. “I’m excited to sing at the talent show, to show everyone that I do have talent,” said Senior Gracie Loker about her upcoming performance.
In the past couple of weeks, freshmen through seniors have been practicing and getting prepared for the upcoming event. As students are practicing dance routines and picking a select few of their own classmates to participate in the talent show, the excitement has been growing bigger and bigger as the days count down. For some students, the Battle of the Classes is one of the best days out of all the school year, and many students are even more excited to have an extra event added to the already fun-filled day. “I’m so happy that we added a talent show into the Battle of the Classes, to see everyone’s talents and creative skills,” stated Ayden Smith.
