The Orchardville Church hosted a Fall Fun Fest hayride on the night of October 16. There, students and church members gathered together for fellowship. Junior Tommy Bruns said, “It’s important to study the word and just keep with it to stay strong with your relationship with God. Also, it’s a way to make good friends that actually have a relationship with God.” There was a bonfire where people sat and chatted amongst each other. They roasted marshmallows and hot dogs over the fire. Later on in the evening, the two hayrides were pulled out and everyone piled into them. Some of the attendants sang songs and others talked with their peers while on the ride. Church member Sara Hays said, “My favorite part of the event was feeling the warmth while sitting around the fire and watching the stars on the hayride.” Not everyone who showed up to the event were regulars. Many brought friends with them to enjoy the night with others. “My time was really fun. I got to meet a lot of good people. I felt really welcomed, honestly, everyone was very nice and kind. It was one of the best days I’ve had this year,” said visitor Ashton Ward
