Results of the Egg Drop Project

Gracie Musgrave

Students should be careful where they stand! The results of the egg drop are in! The freshmen just recently conducted an egg drop project for their physical science class.  They were given a list of materials and had to make a device to keep an egg safe. The results were really good overall. Eleven out of the the 46 eggs broke, making it have a 76% success rate. Mr. Noatch said that he saw to it personally that the eggs were not tampered with. He said, “No boiled eggs here!” He also talked about the cool methods the students used to build their devices. Zaden Richardson, for example, made a device without any padding! How did he do it? He used straws to make his device spin creating air resistance which ended up saving his egg! Hallie Musgrave said, “I worked hard to get my eggsalent grade!” This years egg drop is once again a success!
