For the past few weeks, staff members throughout Wayne City School have been randomly receiving Sunshine packages from the unknown Sunshine Committee. In their special packages, the treats include some of their favorite snacks, a drink, and candy along with special tickets like ¨Leave at 3 o clock¨ and ¨Wear jeans to school.” The packages are sealed with an encouraging message stating that the staff member is a valued staff member who makes a difference.

The note reads, ¨Your hard work does not go unnoticed. You are an AMAZING part of Wayne City School staff. you are appreciated. You are special. YOU make this school a wonderful place for our students! Keep up the hard work. Spread sunshine and JOY wherever you go! KEEP SHINING!¨

This secret sunshine vigilante has spread smiles and inspiration to teachers and staff all over the school. No one is left out from this ray of sunshine, and every day a new staff member is chosen for the sunshine package. These random acts of kindness show students that it does not matter if someone knows a person is doing something nice for them, it matters that the person does it from the heart and takes the time to consider people.
